cast in moonlightTitle: Cast in Moonlight
Author: Michelle Sagara
Series: Chronicles of Elantra
Publication Date: September 1, 2012

Synopsis: Barely a teenager, Kaylin Neya is a thief, a fugitive and an attempted assassin. She also has a smart mouth, sharp wits and mysterious markings on her skin. All of which make her perfect bait for a child prostitution sting in the city of Elantra – if she survives her first meeting with the Hawks!

Join Kaylin for more adventures in the Chronicles of Elantra.

Cast in Moonlight can be read in the anthology Harvest Moon.

Review: I always wondered how exactly Kaylin came to join the Hawks and what happened to her in the time she left the Nightshade fife and came to Elantra. We get parts of the story in the books but in this novella we get the whole story of that time. And it was everything I didn’t know I wanted until I read it. I really loved seeing Kaylin at a young age, she is so jaded. It gives us a real good perspective on how she’s changed, grown up, and things that have always been with her. Now I want more novellas about other characters with things we don’t see about them in the books, from either before, or during times we don’t see them in the books. I just can’t get enough of this series!

Stars: ★★★★
Recommendation: YES go get the first book now!
