Book Review → Hollywood on Tap

hollywood on tapTitle: Hollywood on Tap
Author: Avery Flynn
Series: Sweet Salvation Brewery
Publication Date: November 3, 2014

Synopsis: For years, Sean O’Dell has hidden his past as a Hollywood heartthrob from everyone at the Sweet Salvation Brewery. However, the arrival of nosey efficiency expert Natalie Sweet threatens the status quo. It doesn’t help that with her glasses, buttoned-up sweaters and always pulled-back hair that she’s uncovered one secret already: His attraction for hot librarian types.

Natalie has had enough of the strong-and-silent Sean submarining her efforts to change the brewery for the better. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to make her vision a reality, even if that means taking down the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good brewmaster.

Sizzling attraction battles stubborn determination as Natalie and Sean go head to head in a battle that’s anything but business as usual.

Review: I felt a sort of kinship with Natalie. I know what it is like to have really bad panic attacks, I get them daily, and they can be debilitating. Avery did a really good job writing about them and showing what someone who has them goes through, even though not everyone who has them goes through the same thing, Natalie’s are well written. I also really liked Natalie and Sean’s relationship, they are opposites but work really well together. I loved the sister interactions, I’m a sucker for familial relationships and friendships, I do wish we had gotten to see more of them but I definitely look forward to seeing more of the Sweet Triplets in Olivia’s book!

Recommendation: YES
