So when her photographer up and quits during a wedding blitz in Hawaii, Anna makes an unconventional decision. She hires a hot Marine to be her new photographer.
Little does she know, Grant Patton is the best man in one of her weddings. He’s so perfect he’s practically a Boy Scout—if Boy Scouts were big, ripped Marines with gorgeous gray eyes, and good at, oh, everything. Especially sex. In fact, his only flaw seems to be that he hates marriage as much as she does. But Anna suspects the sexy Boy Scout routine is a cover, and if he wants this thing between them to be about more than sex, Grant must reveal the dark past he’s fought so hard to hide.
Review: This is going to be a short and sweet review. I loved this book and there really isn’t anything I didn’t like about it. Tawna is one of my favorite romance authors, she always writes really enjoyable, sexy books. It’s not a big secret that I’m not a fan of the love at first sight or the tragic back story tropes but Tawna manages to make me not care when it happens with her characters. Her books are packed full of romance, sex, and laughter, yes laughter. And this book doesn’t disappoint on any of those points. The characters are well developed, the pacing of the story was spot on, it never lagged in places or went too fast. Basically just another amazing book from Tawna.
Recommendation: Read it
I received an ARC of this book from Entangled Publishing. This in no way affected my review.
