Social Post → Waiting on Wednesday

waiting on wednesday

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by breaking the spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

This week’s pre-publication “can’t-wait-to-read” selection is:

15749186To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Publication Date: April 22nd, 2014

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

I really think that this books sounds like it will be interesting. The premise of the story is intriguing and a lot can be done with it. I’m interested to see what the author has done with it and what route she takes.

I know I would have been traumatized if this happened to me in high school, I think that’s part of the reason I am interested. I’m curious to see how it will play out and what happens. Thanks for commenting! 🙂

I would have been horrified if something like this happened to me when I was in high school and I think that’s part of the reason why I want to read it. It will be interesting to see how things play out. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
