Synopsis: Caragh Ó Brannon defended herself bravely when the enemy landed—only, now she finds herself alone with one very angry Viking…
Styr Hardrata sailed to Ireland intending to trade, never expecting to find himself held captive in chains by a beautiful Irish maiden.
The fiercely handsome warrior both terrifies and allures Caragh, but he is forbidden territory. He is the enemy…and he is married. Yet Styr harbors a secret that just might set them both free…
Resist them if you can!
Review: Oh boy. Where do I start with this one? Did the author not do any type of research? I find it extremely hard to believe that a village on the ocean, a FISHING VILLAGE, would be starving to death. I requested this book on netgalley because of the vikings and was sorely disappointed in the washed down gentleman that she dressed in viking clothing. Also, how does a near death starved woman drag a healthy, extremely tall and built man from the beach to her house? In real life, she can’t, in this book she can. It just doesn’t make sense. This book left me sad and upset, in fact it’s taken me months to write this review.
Recommendation: Skip it. Read one of my four or five star reviews.
I received an ARC of this book on Netgalley. This in no way affected my review.
